The University of Calgary - Schulich School of Engineering ENE Building
The upgrades to the Schulich School of Engineering’s ENE Building enable enhancements to leading-edge research and improved productivity and collaboration through the creation of shared research facilities and collocation of laboratories and workspaces for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and visiting scholars. The project included the complete interior demolition and re-design of three floors of programed space, a completely reconstructed exterior wall system featuring significantly increased insulation and use of high performance glazing as well as an upgraded roof. Also included are building code upgrades, and complete replacement of the mechanical and electrical systems and provisions for a future photo voltaic panel system.
