Gibbs Gage has been working in Joint Venture with Diamond + Schmitt Architects on this project from its commencement in 2011. The program includes enhanced ambulatory clinic space; enlargement and consolidation of Maternal/Child Department; expanded emergency facilities, new surgical suites, cancer clinic, renal dialysis, sterile procession department and related support programs. The planning extended the central spine of the earlier expansion to create a centrally organized arrangement of the principle program components. The expansion was completed in 2017 and the renovation phases are now in construction The expansion included the nICU (neonatal Intensive Care Unit) as well as multiple Communication Stations (Reception desks) and transition to home rooms for new Parents. Various components of the emergency Area renovation and the Maternity Security have features of comparable complexity to your project. The renovations are all taking place in a working hospital.
