Gibbs Gage Architects (GGA) is a Calgary based firm that takes pride in offering exceptional professional services in Architecture, Urban Design and Interior Design. Over the past 33 years, Gibbs Gage Architects has developed into one of the largest pure Architecture firms in Western Canada, employing over 100 professionals. The firm is comprised of four Partners, Architectural Designers, Interior Designers, Architectural Technologists, Specification Writers, Contract Administrators, along with Office Administration/Support personnel.

Description of Role
GGA is seeking an innovative and talented Junior/Intermediate Interior Designer. The successful candidate will be disciplined, creative, and an enthusiastic individual who is able to translate our client's requirements into exciting architectural propositions, reflecting our pursuit of sustainable design excellence.
GGA's integrated design/production studio is an exciting professional development environment, supported by active mentoring with opportunities to lead small to medium-sized projects. You will work directly with project/studio leads and Partners to conceptualize and develop design concepts for a variety of project types and sizes.
Qualities & Minimum Requirements
The chosen candidate must possess a professional and energetic attitude, excellent communication/interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and teamwork. You must have proven problem-solving skills and an ability to work on multiple projects; managing your time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. You will liaise with consultants, clients, project managers and approving authorities. Your portfolio should demonstrate proven design and visualization ability, as well as the design methodology you employ in your design process.
Experience in Sketch Up, AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe CS are necessary. Revit experience, AAA Intern Membership and LEED® AP will be considered an asset. Gibbs Gage Architects offer a creative and rewarding work environment and an attractive benefits package.
