Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director of Projects you will work with clients, municipalities, project manager in the preparation and review of Contact Documents and resolving contractual and construction issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A Contract Administrator will be responsible for the administration of small to medium sized projects and support to a Senior Contract Administrator on selected large projects.
  • Maintain regular communication with project managers, designers, field inspectors, contractors, property owners and clients daily throughout the construction period to ensure project goals are met
  • Establishment and maintenance of logs, registers and filing systems
  • Review plans, specifications, and contract and present and explain contract condition and details to project stakeholders
  • Ensure that the contractor follows legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations at all times.
  • Oversee change requests and claims
  • Ensure staff complete tasks in accordance with safety policies, procedures and legislative requirements
  • Preform all work in accordance with the company’s policies
  • Lead by example in all areas of work

Skills & Experience

  • A Contract Administrator should have a minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in a Contract Administration role. These requirements are also subject to review by GGA management upon the 3-month probationary period
  • Experience with contract administration documents
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license
