The project evolved around the reuse and reinvention of two 40-year-old greenhouse structures.  New energy efficient glazing systems were added to the existing steel structures to provide a more supportive environment for the butterfly and ethnobotony pavilions.  Public multi-purpose space was used to inter-connect a combined tea house/chapel, a banquet hall and education spaces.
